The Wintec 2000 released in 1991 proved to be popular in the suede but not the durahide so plans were made to discontinue the durahide and make a new and improved suede version.
The New Wintec 2000 was the first of the Wintec saddles to incorporate a built in knee bloc on top of the flap and special moulded urethane seat foam which does not ride down and is extremely comfortable. This saddle has continued to be one of the most popular in the Wintec range.
