Equileather is a multi-layered material that has been prepared to varying specifications for use in different sections of Wintec saddles. In the Wintec 500 a touch-sensitive soft specification is used in the saddle seat and linings for horse and rider comfort whilst a firmer lamination is used in the flaps and skirts to achieve long term durability and hardiness.
Equileather is of the highest UV resistance, is specially impregnated to be sweat resistant and is the lowest maintenance material available as horsehair and dirt simply wipe off.
Traditional in appearance Equileather has the low sheen look of the best grades of leather.
Riders can expect years of excellent service from Equileather as it is extremely durable and abrasion resistant.
